Natural pastures have important
place in terrestrial areas, pasture vegetation
forming by many plant species are important
both the continuity of natural balance and
the social and economical needing of people.
Being suitable areas for grassing the great
and small cattle, pastures are an agricultural
activity area for beekeeping activities, too.
Medicines used in common agricultural
system and nutrition inputs encouraging the
plant development can cause the various
problems about bee health and organic
honey production in beekeeping. There is no
doubt about agricultural actives and nature
or organic of agricultural product because
chemical input, affecting the natural structure
of vegetation, is not used and pasture
vegetations form as a result of natural plant
species setting in natural succession periods.
With this feature, pasture vegetations
supply a healthy environment both great
and small cattling and beekeeping activities
and pasture vegetations give opportunity to
production of organic honey by using natural
plant species having rich honey essence.
On the other hand, beekeeping activities,
protecting the natural balance and being
useful for continuation of plants, should not
be ignored.
