This study aims to provide a comprehensive bibliometric overview of the scientific output on `honey and wound healing` between 2014 and 2025, systematically revealing thematic evolution, international collaboration networks, global research priorities, and emerging trends to guide future research in the field. The data were retrieved through comprehensive queries conducted in the Web of Science Core Collection database. A total of 824 records were analyzed using the Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny and VOSviewer software packages. The analysis evaluated publication types, annual distribution, citation dynamics, most productive journals, highly cited studies, and keyword themes. Within the scope of the analysis, a total of 824 publications were identified between 2014 and 2025, with the highest output observed in 2024. Most studies focused on the biological activities of honey and biomaterial-based applications, while in recent years, clinical themes such as chronic wounds and tissue engineering have gained prominence. Country-level analyses revealed that the field exhibits a multicentric and globally collaborative research structure. The findings indicate that honey functions as an effective and sustainable agent in wound management. Nevertheless, there remains a need to ensure standardization and to strengthen the body of high-quality clinical evidence within the field. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the thematic orientations and global research networks in the domain of `honey and wound healing,` and is expected to serve as a guiding framework for the planning of future research.
